Fahrzeugbeschreibung
I am selling my beautiful 1973 model Porsche 911T which went out the production line in August "72 in an interesting & nice color combination: Aubergine (40) exterior over a regular leatherette finished in black. The power comes from the flat six cylinder 2.4 Liter engine mated to a five speed manual. The car is in my family since 2013 but it is actually in my possession since late 2017 but it is time to narrow down my collection. My brother in law performed a comprehensive refurbishment including a repaint (the car has been stripped to bare metal and premium materials have been used such as Spies Hecker paint). A steel 911S bumper was installed up
front, and a set of chrome rear bumperettes replace the factory-installed rubber units. The original rear bumperettes are included with the sale. Replacement turn signal lenses, body seals, and a Sigla windshield were installed during reassembly, the interior has been refreshed, the transmission/suspension/fuel system/brakes/electrics have been rebuilt. The car has been originally equipped with a set of Fuchs rims, which also received attention at the same time as the rest of the car did and a set of BFGoodrich Advantage T/A Sport radial tires have been fitted. Some improvements have been brought for the suspension meaning torsion bars (hollow) and brand new socks made by Bilstein, some SSI heat exchangers and a beautiful Dansk muffler with dual outlet.
Just for the sake of clarity I"d like to add that the gearbox and engine are the ones which were equipped for this car back in "72. I"m selling the car with a clear title, a comprehensive maintenance folder, a tool kit, the Porsche certificate and the owner"s manual.
For the people interested in the technical side of things I think it is for the best to mention that the car retains a dealer installed Air conditioning system and the following parts have been added to replace the original ones:
The torsion bars (21mm on the front and 28mm on the rear) are manufactured by Sander Engineering;
The late model trailing arms made of aluminum;
Lemforder turbo tie rods;
Brand new Bilstein HD shocks (all around) and front strut inserts;
OEM 15mm front sway bar;
OEM oil lines & hoses;
OEM water hoses;
The following have been addressed:
A valve adjustment and reseal of the engine;
MFI pump serviced & calibrated;
A compression test has been done resulting 150PSI on all cylinders;
The transmission has been rebuilt.
ATTENTION EVERYONE:
- The car is sold as is;
- No warranty offered or implied;
- Inspections are welcome, by the time of auction end;
- Payments accepted by bank or casy;
- Buyer has the obligation to establish contact within 24 hours by auction end in order to discuss pickup/shipping/payment;
- Payment due within 5 days - NO EXCEPTIONS.
