Fahrzeugbeschreibung
For sale is a 1973 Mercury Comet GT. A very rear car, based on the Mustang engine, gear box and suspension. The car has a big racing history in USA, it was a Firebird Raceway Winner. Imported to Europe in 2012 and restored over the last 3 years. It had a total restoration. The car was stripped to bear metal, painted and corrosion protected using top class Sikkens materials. It has a roll cage custom designed by Ireco Motorsport and bucket seats made specially for the owner and this car. Sabelt 4 point bets installed. Engine, gear box and diff build from the very beginning using top materials, with potential of over 600 bhp. Details listed bellow. When buying the car, you get a list of invoices and pictures from renovation. All parts bought and imported from USA, the rest custom fabricated in the best machine shops available. Suspension made according to auto cross specifications from the old days. Very fast and very good handling car made with the attention to details.

Original Ford 302 1985 roller engine block, cleaned, honed, professionally prepared at a machine shop;
Crane Cam blower camshaft;
Crane Cam roller lifters;
Edelbrock roller rocker arms and guide plates;
Probe forged pistons;
Crane Cam timing set;
Crankshaft – polished and balanced as a whole rotating assembly;
Edelbrock Victor Junior cylinder heads 60cc chambers, 2.05 intake, 1.6 exhaust, 210 intake runner;
All bolts – ARP;
7 quarts racing oil pan;
High volume/high pressure Mailing oil pump;
3 row aluminum radiator with cooling fan;
New high volume water pump;
MSD ignition box 6200;
MSD Boost Timing Master;
2,5’ exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers;
