1969 MV Agusta 4C6, the famous 600 MV/4, 1 of 127 ever built only ...

For sure one of the best well preserved original 600 MV/4 known :
6900 km only from new, still with original (cracked of course) Metzeler tyres from new !
Original paint, seat, keys plus MV leather keys holder, hand and foot grips etc ...
Original libretto from new with all stamps, still with original plate from new .
MV produced a road-going sports bike based on their very successful 500 GP engine back in 1951 but it was to be 1967 before a road-going 4 cylinder MV was available to the public - for those who could afford it. Count Agusta was determined that no privateer racers would compete on MV machinery and so he deliberately produced a heavy and luxurious 600cc black tourer with shaft drive, car headlight and no less than 3 horns. Despite the Counts plans many were bought to be converted into 500cc race bikes. When the Count died in 1971 the company converted the tourer into a gorgeous red white and blue sports bike with curvaceous tank, and sports seats and guards. 750cc and four carbs gave much better performance and a twin drum brake replaced the cable operated discs. The heavy frame and shaft drive remained. Many owners did the same thing with the result that few 600s have survived, MV experts are talking of 40 known only of the 127 ex. ever built .
