Indian Scout 600 cm, 1928(?), pre 101 version
Not original: carburator, it is from Indian 741, and probably the brake in the front wheel. Other than that, everything is original, including Goodyear tires, all the equipment in the tank, tank itself etc, etc.
Engine turns, there is a very good compression, gears change easily.
It is the last Scout before 101 version, so it is shorter frame.
No generator. Ca 4-5 years ago it was started, since than did not run (i.e. I did not try to start it).
It is a really perfect project. The seat has been covered by some leather, but there is full and complete Messinger beneath, I believe – see the photo.
I also have Harleys from 1929 (D) - Germany, 1931 (V with sidecar) – Sweden, 1932 (DLD) – Sweden, Excelsior Super X 1931 in original paint from Sweden.
