Fahrzeugbeschreibung
Up for sale. A 2015 Ducati Scrambler. The bike was built by 86-gear Motorcycles in cooperation with Pawel Swanski and Ducati Poland for the international Custom Rumble Contest. Our Iron Lungs won the Instagram contest against 40 competitors by getting the most votes world wide. This made it the winner bike for Europe and one of the finalist for the final contest that took place at World Ducati Week 2016. There it took the price for the 4th best custom built Ducati Scrambler worldwide.
The bike was featured on several TV shows and got a lot of press. Its built history is fully documented.
Modifications:
We adapted the back frame, powder coated the whole thing and installed vintage chrome fenders front and back. A special seat base was molded and covered with a handmade leather seat. We got rid of the air box and installed custom intakes and filters. The previous installed Termignoni exhaust system was modified and the muffler custom made. Electrics got adapted and the side covers hand build. Front indicators were integrated into the brake and clutch levers. The ignition lock found its place under the tank. We attached a skate rag to the swing arm that makes it possible to use the bike safely with the board attached. The bike features the original speedo, although it got relocated. Several more things and details were changed and modified, too much to mention.
Amortization is handled by an Öhlins shock in the back and Öhlins progressive springs and caps in the front.
The tank finally was painted and signed by Pawel Swanski, widely known artist and designer.
Well how does it drive?
The bike handles very well and is an absolute eye catcher. Throttle response is amazing and thanks to the different tires and shocks set up it gained a lot, if it comes to how the bike feels. The sound is a statement and due to the slightly different drivers position the response you get improved a lot. This is not a show bike. It was designed to be fully functional and to be ridden. It still has the factory warranty and, as it was only used for commercial purposes, a very low mileage.
The bike is located in Warsaw Poland. Shipping is not a problem
